IGCSE Biology Students Get Hands On With Eye Dissection!

Our IGCSE Biology students had an exciting and unforgettable lesson this week as they carried out an eye dissection! The classroom buzzed with curiosity and excitement as students prepared their tool and got ready to explore the structure of the eye up close.

During the dissection, students discovered the fascinating details of the eye, from the cornea and lens to the retina and optic nerve. Many were amazed to see the parts they had studies in textbooks come to life in front of them.

The lesson was not only enjoyable but also an excellent learning experience. By handling and examining the eye themselves, students gained a deeper understanding of its functions and were able to remember the information far better than from reading alone. Everyone left the classroom inspired, excited about the wonders of Biology and eager for the next dissection!
