It’s been a really creative start to the term in Art. Our students have been working hard across all year groups, exploring new ideas and techniques. Year 7 are learning about the 7 Elements of Art: line, shape, colour, form, tone, texture, and space using these to build confidence in their drawing and design skills.
Our older students are taking these skills further through observational drawing, mixed-media work, and GCSE preparation. It’s been lovely to see how much effort and enthusiasm they are putting into their projects. The atmosphere in the Art room has been positive and focused, and I’m really proud of how students are developing their creativity week by week.
