Dear Parents and students,
It has been wonderful welcoming everyone back to school these past two weeks. The energy across the Secondary School has been inspiring, with classrooms once again full of smiling faces, laughter, and a real buzz for learning. Already, our year has started strongly with excellent lessons taking place, and students demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to their studies.
We ended last academic year on a real high, celebrating the achievements of our 6th Form students who graduated with great success. Our GCSE, AS Level, and BTEC results were also a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers. This year, we want to continue building on that momentum and aim even higher.
Alongside academic success, we are determined to see our students shine outside the classroom too. From sports, art, and media, to Olympiads, Destination Imagination, and Model United Nations, there are countless opportunities for our young people to represent the school and develop new skills. We encourage all students to get involved and take advantage of the rich extracurricular program on offer.
This year will also see the introduction of a variety of international trips. These experiences offer so much more than travel, they broaden horizons, build independence, strengthen friendships, and connect classroom learning to the wider world. We are excited to share more details with you soon and hope many of you will be inspired to join.
It truly feels like we are beginning another exciting chapter at The Gulf English School, and I look forward to celebrating all the successes this academic year will bring, both big and small. Thank you for your continued support, and I wish everyone a happy and successful year ahead.
Warm regards,
Daniel Langfield
